1 cooked chicken with stuffing
3 Tbs oil
2 onions, peeled & chopped
5 rashers bacon, diced
2 heaped cups button mushrooms, sliced
4 Tbs flour
1-3/4 cups milk
salt & pepper
3 sheets pre-rolled puff pastry
1 egg yolk to glaze
Strip meat from chicken & chop meat & stuffing into chunks. In pan heat oil & fry onion & bacon. Add mushrooms & brown. Add flour & stir over heat minute or two. Slowly add milk stirring all the time. Simmer until thickened & smooth. Cool then add chicken, stuffing & season to taste. Heat oen to 180 degC. Line 20cmx4.5cm flan dish. Fill with chicken mixture. Use remaining pastry for lid. Trim & decorate. Glaze with egg yolk. Cook one hour until golden brown. Serve hot or cold.
