300g chicken mince
1/2 tsp salt
white pepper to taste
1 egg, beaten lightly
1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs (white)
1 Tbs olive oil
pinch nutmeg, grated or ground
2 Tbs onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp lemon juice
2 Tbs italian parsley, finely chopped
4 Tbs olive oil for frying
Place all ingredients in large bowl & mix well. Roll into walnut-size balls. Place on tray & refrigerate 1 hour. Heat oil in frying pan, cook koftas for five minutes, turning until golden all over. Serve with yoghurt dip.
