2 cups rolled oats
2 cups All Bran
1 cup Baking Bran
1 cup wheatgerm
1 cup coconut
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup brown sugar
50g butter
1/2 cup malt
2 tsp mixed spice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sultanas
Mix rolled oats, brans, wheatgerm, coconut, sunflower seeds & brown sugar together in large bowl. Melt butter in large frying pan or saucepan, add malt, salt & mixed spice. Stir over low heat until malt has softened & ingredients are well blended, do not boil. Remove from heat & stir in 1/4-1/2 dry ingredients. Mix well then tip into remaining dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly breaking up large lumps. Add up to 1 cup kornies or weetbix if desired. Spread in thin layer in baking dish & bake 150 degC 10-15 mins until slightly browned.
