225g flakey pastry
750g onions
water
25g butter
2 Tbs flour
2 eggs
1 Tbs cream
1/4 cup grated cheese
salt & black pepper
Roll out pastry & line 23cm flan tin. Peel & chop onions & covefr with water - simmer until soft. Drain well. Add buter, cook 1 minute. Stir in salt & papper, flour, beaten eggs & cream. Mix well. Spread into pastry case, sprinkle with cheese. bake 220 degC 20 minutes. Lower temperature to 190 degC, bake further 20 minutes.
