125g butter
1 Tbs golden syrup
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped dates
Heat butter & syrup until melted. Put flour, baking powder, sugar, coconut & dates into bowl. Add butter & syrup, mix well. Press firmly into tin & bake 180 degC 20 mins. Ice while still warm & cut before completely cold.
