1 kg ripe plums
1/2 cup wine vinegar
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
2 chopped garlic cloves
2 tsp finely grated fresh ginger
1/4-1/2 tsp ground gloves
1 tsp mixed spice
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
Combine all ingredients in large microwave dish or saucepan.
Microwave on high 10 minutes or simmer 20 mins.
Sieve removing stones & skins.
Return to microwave or stove & heat until all parts have bubbled.
Pour into hot jars & seal immediately.
Refrigerate after opening.
