150g butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
1-1/4 cups flour
6 Tbs cornflour
2 Tbs crushed sliced almonds

Cream butter & sugar. Add vanilla.
Sift flour & cornflour & add to creamed mixture, mix until combined.
Roll into balls then roll in crushed almonds.
Place balls on lightly greased oven tray.
Make hole in centre & half fill with jam.
Bake 160 degC 15 minutes.
