50g butter
1 Tbs golden syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 Tbs cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup milk
Grease & flour ring tin. Put butter & syrup in pan & melt. DON'T BOIL. Whisk in egg, sugar & vanilla. Sift in flour, baking powder & cocoa. Whisk baking soda & milk in a cup & mix in. Pour into tin. Bake 30-35 mins 180 deg C.
